Cauliflower Wings

Thanks to Jennifer Zaremba

Preheat oven to 400 degrees, line a baking pan with preferably parchment paper if not aluminum.

Cut out the florets of 1 head of cauliflower, wash and dry them. ( I tend to quarter the outer ones so most are the same size) If you don’t and leave them whole put the bigger ones on the outer part of the baking dish.

Mix together 1 cup of milk and between ½ to ¾ cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1 teaspoon of cumin till you have a smooth batter.

Dip florets in batter shake or drain off excess batter and place on baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes.

While they are baking in a small pan bring 1 tablespoon of butter, 3 tablespoons of honey ( add optional tablespoon of sriracha sauce or hot sauce or tabasco) if you like it spicy) and ½ cup of your favorite BBQ sauce and let simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. (N.B. If you like it spicy just try using our Original BBQ sauce and dispense with the hot sauce)

Remove the florets from oven brush or dip in simmered sauce and replace on baking sheet to bake for another 10 minutes at 400.

Once done you are ready to go!
